STACY TOWNSEND
FOUNDER + DESIGNER
Stacy has always been inspired by connection, design and the unique ways they team up as forms of self expression. Commonform was born in 2012 out of inspiration, experience, and conversation—not in solitude, but in community. Drawn to both organic and geometric shapes, as well as the uniqueness of natural stones, her pieces embody subtlety and timelessness with a modern take on tradition — jewelry for living in and meaningful gifting. Originally from Washington state, Stacy and her husband, RC, have called Bozeman home for over 15 years. Beyond the studio, she’s a passionate multi-disciplinary creator—drawing on her background in graphic design and photography to grow Commonform and to elevate the visions of other artists and businesses. For Stacy, collaboration and community are at the heart of it all, shaping not only her work, but the world she continues to build around her.

JESS DALEY
GENERAL MANAGEr
Jess is as Bozeman as it gets—and as OG Commonform as it gets, too. Born and raised in Bozeman, she’s been here since the very beginning—back in 2018 when the studio was just a tiny spot in the Baxter Hotel and she started as the only producer, making jewelry part time through school. Six years, a business management degree, and a whole lot of soldering later, Jess now helps run the show as our General Manager. She manages the team, the showroom, clients, customers—you name it, she’s on it—while still jumping in on design and production like the pro she is. Basically, Jess keeps the wheels turning and the vibes high, and Commonform wouldn’t exist in its current form without her. Off the clock, you’ll probably find her at a concert, camping in the mountains, scoping out Bozeman’s newest restaurant, traveling, or laughing with her favorite people.

Production ManagerA Montana native, Ryan was raised on his family’s ranch in Cascade, and brings a mix of grit, precision, and steady leadership to the Commonform team. He started with us part-time in December 2023, and it didn’t take long for his talent and work ethic to shine—earning him the full time position of Production Manager. From fulfillment and inventory to training and team management, Ryan keeps the studio running smoothly. His craftsmanship is second to none, and his calm presence balances out the lively CF crew. When he’s off the clock, you’ll likely find him fishing, shed hunting, camping, skiing, or cruising on his motorcycle. We’re beyond grateful for everything Ryan brings to the table—Commonform wouldn’t be the same without him.

Production LeadTia joined the Commonform crew in October 2024 and quickly earned her title as our studio’s efficiency queen. With a sharp eye for detail and a steady hand, we know we can trust anything that passes through her bench. Originally from the Denver area, Tia recently graduated with a degree in graphic design from MSU and channels her love for all things creative into ceramics, jewelry, fashion, graphics (of course), and more. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her traveling, skiing, exploring the outdoors, or spending quality time with her people. Generous, kind, and a little sassy, we rely on Tia to help keep things running smoothly in the studio.

Production LeadBorn in Australia, Courtney made her way to the U.S. as a teenager and eventually landed in Bozeman by way of Colorado to study studio arts at MSU, focusing on metalsmithing. Now a graduate, she continues to pour her creativity into personal projects—including some truly beautiful jewelry. Courtney joined the Commonform team in June 2025 and quickly impressed us with her swift hand at the bench, retail savvy, and attention to detail. When she’s not in the studio, you can find her behind the bar at Bozeman Distillery on Main Street or working on her latest creative endeavor. With her mix of skill, style, and calm energy, it was an obvious choice to make her a studio lead.
